All About the Décor of Yullia Branches throughout Tel Aviv
Dizengoff Branch Décor
The Dizengoff branch is located at the corner of Dizengoff and Frishman streets in Tel Aviv, next to a central walking and driving road and in a very urban and upbeat environment. In addition, the branch is located along a busy street, allowing for additional walk-in traffic. The three floor branch spreads over a total of 150 square meters and is furnished by Philippe Starck. During the planning stage, the space distribution was done in such a way that the exterior and interior were connected. The space was divided in relation to a central movement axis that extends from the main entrance, all the way to the back of the space and along the two levels. The entryway includes a reception desk, waiting area and steps that lead up to the gallery. This layout allowed for a sense of continuity and movement in relation to the street and maximum correspondence with the clients' movements as they are received and hosted in the waiting area and proceed to the treatments area, without disturbing clients being treated. The treatment rooms requiring high ceilings were located on the end of the space. Their scattering around the gallery allowed for the division into separate, more spacious work zones. The clients' movement along the axis parallel to the door does not disturb clients in the closed treatments rooms. The different work zones are scattered in five main areas: the room area and the four open areas created thanks to the cross of the two main axes where the heightened reception desk is located. During the design stage, special attention was paid to the different design choices in terms of what the space represented: The main movement axis, which was created in order to provide a sense of length, was delineated using ball shaped air vents scattered evenly throughout the space. To avoid damaging the sense of depth and length of the axis, the rail between the two levels was made of glass. Basic colorways were chosen, namely white with some black added in, in order to set a backdrop for the colors of the products and the nail polish bottles which change periodically. The color concept is also present in a horizontal poster in which the projected image changes according to the tones in which it was printed. Before each season, the poster is re-printed in trendy seasonal colors chosen by yullia. In addition, this poster is parallel to the main movement axis and binds the two levels. The space is primarily lit according to the functionality required by the different treatment zones. To enable a perfectly suitable work atmosphere in terms of lighting, the light fixtures were chosen specifically for each zone. The fixtures chosen were black and white to correspond with the overall colors in the open space (Kimhi Lighting Fixtures Ltd.). Large 60/120 tiles were laid on the floor to create a sense of spaciousness. The color chosen for the tiles was a neutral gray that allowed for an urban feel without interfering with the colorway of the space (Mody).
Furniture chosen was streamlined and modern, to emphasize the accessories designed by renowned designer Philippe Starck. Accessorizing was also done according to work zones, in order to complement their different styles and colorways. Treatment rooms were designed with a streamlined and pastoral décor to indicate the nature of the treatments given: facials and massages.
The end result is a harmonious, bustling and trendy space that transcend quality and attention to design, which reflect on the quality and professionalism of the treatments provided.

Herzl Branch Décor
The Herzl branch is located in an interesting urban environment, close to business centers and old buildings in Neve Tzedek and Florentin. Among the newer venues that combine old and new is yullia's new branch, which provides customers the opportunity to stay in a space that combines the magical qualities of the area and its budding character as a business, entertainment and luxury housing center. The branch spans 74 square meters and is elegantly decorated. During the planning stage, the space was divided according to the different functions it would have to fill, using libraries and different carpentry objects that define the space whilst giving it a softer look. The entrance to the space is through a library with a low shelf which serves as a reception desk. By the entrance is a waiting area where clients have the opportunity to choose the nail polish color they'd like to use, from a variety of colors in specially designed wood installations. These wooden pieces face the street in order to send pedestrians a message regarding the nature aqnd quality of the establishment. The work stations are located in two open spaces, separated by a water source required for the different treatments. The closed treatment rooms were located on the edges of the space in order to leave a maximum sized open space in the center. Other useful functions such as air conditioning and lighting were placed as high as possible in order to keep them from detracting from the gentle and cozy atmosphere chosen for the space. In keeping with this approach, all design elements were placed at eye level whilst technical elements were located very high. During the design stage, several of the approaches and guidelines that were used in the Dizengoff branch were preserved, namely functionality, high standards and classical-modern elements in carpentry and accessories such as light fixtures. As in the first branch, the light fixtures chosen for the work stations provided strong and broad lighting to assist the employees (Kimhi Lighting Fixtures Ltd.). The rest of the fixtures, which provide mood lighting, were carefully selected from different collectors' items and antiques from around the world. These fixtures are suited for their placement in the space and serve to enlarge the sub-spaces within the open space.
The deisng style chosen for the space was classical-modern and required careful planning in terms of carpentry and accessorizing. All accessories and wood work were handmade and especially selected to achieve an overall harmonious look. The carpentry in the space was designed to be streamlined, delicate and precise, using epoxy paint and cornices to achieve a classical look that embodies quality and luxury. Accessories such as employee chairs were manufactured in order to maintain the character of the space without compromising functionality.
Special attention was paid while selecting finishing materials, since these were to complement the overall atmosphere of the space while maintaining a high standard of quality. Small mosaic tiles line the floors, enlarging the space while simultaneously maintaining its classical-modern appeal. The floor pattern is created using white, cream and light blue tiles lending to the clean look of the floor without hindering the overall appearance and yet adding color and movement. A different tile was used in the bathroom and foyer in order to add an additional décor section that defines the space and adds some color (Mody). The overall appearance of the space was not compromised when selecting accessories such as curtains, barrels and employee chairs. All of these were sourced through importation and personal orders to guarantee their correspondence with the overall appearance. During the design process, we worked in close cooperation with the leading contractors in the field whom are known for providing clients with the possibility to choose from unique design elements. Our chosen providers were Mody and Kimhi, who in addition to supplying services for projects, supply unique one-of-a-kind materials that are of higher quality than anything found in retail stores and showrooms. Working with Mody and Kimhi enabled us to achieve a more personalized and unique design.
